ARTIST’S NOTES:   “I wanted to convey a sensation I was experiencing during that period, linked to a new beginning, a fresh start, full of enthusiasm but also imbued with a awareness that has matured over time: thus, I thought of narrating it through the face of a young girl, stepping into adolescence, retaining the purity of childhood yet ready to grow, to embrace change with eagerness, being reflective and smiling at the same time.”
