ARTIST’S NOTES:  In this work I wanted to put together the love for my country, Italy, and the anger at how it is too often mistreated. Sometimes, unfortunately, with silence, or acceptance, on the part of the Italians themselves. This sad and suffering face, but with a surge of pride that animates it, represents Italy itself, which must be able to awaken and be reborn from its own wounds, to show everyone its enormous beauty, made up of genius, creativity and uniqueness.
